We went fishing the other day on Plum Island, and my son caught his first striped bass. It was 26". He was so excited. He hooked this fish, landed this fish, released this fish by himself. I was so proud :) We didn't have a camera, but the excitement in his eyes was priceless.

Bait used: chunked herring.

That is great! I can't wait to take my son but he is still a few years away from the surf. I saw a lot of fish being taken out of boats and from the shore on Sat.
