Playing in the shop today with an idea I had.....this is one of my popper bodies outfitted with a metal lip! She is going for a swim tomorrow and I am wondering what some of you think it will do? Will it swim? Or will it sink? Any guesses?

i think that it will wiggle and gurgle just under surface.

My only thought Don is that the top lip might resist too much and kill it? Most swimmers have the water flowing over a more aerodynamic (rounded) head......I guess I will find out and let you know tomorrow.

I agree : I think it'll blow sub-surface bubbles and catch! Looks like a real noise maker. HEREFISHYFISHY!!

She swims unbelieveable! Just like a deep diving crank bait......nose down a little, arse up.....with the tightest wiggle I have ever seen in a plug....and depending on retrieve speed.....it goes deep! Gonna have to make a few and fish them! :kewl:

on second thought........ BIGFISH.....

i was wrong....
as its both........or half and half... technically

aerodynamics on the cast as it flies through the air

hydrodynamics on the retrieve as its pulled through the water. :btu:

can't help it : i'm always rethinking ideas.... i am a thinker...

nice design i forgot to mention,,,before

very inovative of you...

Thanks Raven...it is more hydrodynamic than aerodynamic to be sure!
