CS,

We've got one at work for the morons that leave all the power to the radios on. We've used it at LEAST 100 times in the last 4 years and it works great. Plugs into the power in the building, quick disconnect and you're off. Not sure on the brand but I want to say it was around $100. Cheapo but works great!

We use those all the time at work. Dead batteries are run of the mill in Bodyshops. Never looked at who made it, but I will tomorrow.

I have one from Walfart, 3 years old now, works great! I run my bait tank from it and I get a whole day on the eletric reel cod fishing!

I left in the boat one time and it rained, I forgot were it was, then looked in boat, there it was sitting in 4 inches of water!! Drained the water and it still works!

The only thing I had to do was change the battery clamps, they are plastic and I broke one soon after buying it.

It is a EverStart

Me and Mikey were out on a small charter boat one time that started taking on water without us knowing it.
Cap went to start the boat, and nothing, batteries totally covered in water!!!
We were in some weather at the time, he starts to get a little panicked, then remebers he's got a portable jumper stowed in the bow.
That thing saved us good; too bad as we were into some big fish at the time...Mikey got like 3 20-30 # fish in twenty minutes.
Oh well, at least we didn't have to swim!
Later,
Rick
