To take my 2 year old so he can run around something close to raynham with a public beach, Houghtons pond is not an option.....

Mike, There is a pond off of Rt.79....I think it's clear pond..or John's pond maybe...near Rousseu's RV...across from where the landfill is..( was )...they have a public beach... I have only been there once and it was a long time ago.

Massasoit in Taunton - but I dont think there is any lifeguards

Fearing Pond - in Carver (Myles Standish) - Clean water.. safe local

The pond Jay referred to is Clear Pond in Lakeville. Take route 18 south to route 79 (left at the light by Rousseu's Campers) go about a half mile take the first right and the entrance is about a mile on the left. Check with the town to see what the hours are as the gate is locked up tight when the staff leaves.
