Benefits, drawbacks......which one is best? I want to use it for spraying my clear on my plugs! ;) Any help would be appreciated.

Can a regular air brush be used to spray what you want?

If so, Badger 360 has both, but I'm not sure how it would work with clear...
I'm happy with mine (for painting). I prefer the gravity feed only because it's easier to clean when I change colors. :tooth:

i got a little gravity feed you can have.
gravity is WAY better. less paint, less cleanup, lower pressure.

i use a hvlp gravity gun for priming- can't beat it. less waste, more material goes on object- less into the air. hvlp= high volume low pressure.

You might also look into getting a small spray gun instead of an airbrush. They'll work fine when you don't need the detail of an airbrush.

I bought a small gravity hvlp gun from Grizzly for about $20.00.
I use it to spray Kilz pimer/sealer. It works great and it works out a lot cheaper than the rattle cans. I can also set the gun to to spray a thinner coat without blowing the overspray all over and clogging up my filters. It takes more time and effort to clean it so I tend to prime in batches of a dozen plugs or more to make it worth the work.
I keep a few rattle cans around for when I am just doing 1 or 2 plugs.

Badger 400 model detail touch up gun is what I've been using. Siphon feed, 8 oz jar. Works well for bulk spraying of various mediums.
