Does anyone have any squid patterns that work particulary well for the breachways at dusk and dawn on the ebbing tides??
Thank you
SF

Jamie Boyle ties an incredible squid pattern. Just Big Fly Fiber for the mantle, and then Big Fly again for the tentacles. Estaz dubbed on the body. Giant Witchcraft eyes. BIG Tiemco 600SP, maybe a 4 or 5/0.

One of the best out there, yet incredibly simple. I wish I had a pic of it to explain it better. There's one hanging in the shop if you live anywhere near by.

Sax your right I got to watch Joe Cordiero,I think that was his name, tie those at the Bears den show this spring. Sweet fly. I bought Kens book this summer and plan on learning his methods this winter.

You won't be disapointed. His style of fly combined with his techniques will out fish all others IMHO. You just have to be willing to give it a try. Your in SE Mass, do yourself a favor and go meet Kenney on a Tuesday night either for fishing or fly tying, he is truly a master and has no problem sharing what he knows. Well worth the drive.
