Met Dave Sloan of On The Hook fame at the Boston Harbor Striper Shootout this weekend. What a nice guy and a true gentleman. He gave me a complete tour inside and out of the new 305 Conquest Boston Whaler that he just got from Russo Marine for this year's show. Boat has twin 250 Verado's, a diesel generator, and much much more. What a beautiful boat! I believe it goes for about $235K dressed out like he had it. Check it out on the show.

As far as the tournament goes.....struck out. But team Ave Maria did ok I hear.

Not bad guys, I only managed a 31 1/2" my first time targeting stripers in Boston Harbor. Had to spend 2 hrs of my afternoon towing a broken down aquasport from deer island to marina bay. All in all it was a fun day and I agree with you on the Dave Sloan comment, talked to him for a few hrs fri night and def a stand up man, ohh and I 2nd the comment on the BW conquest WOW gotta be nice to have a something like that at your disposal.
