Walking back to the trucks around 445a PIEMMA and I stumbled upon a boat up on the rocks on a VERY shallow cobble area in SoCO; Apparently he took on water and beached the boat, and was then waiting for the tide; problem was with an onshore wind and not anchored out it will be a tough task getting off there, even at spring high tide...
If he is a member here, or you know him I hope he makes it off, I think he thought we were just gawkers, but we were honestly concerned the occupants had a problem (heart attack etc..) and drifted in....
Always a sad site to see a boat up on the hard, especially when it's not a sandy bottom.. for what its worth if you guys get in trouble and want to beach it... aim for a sandy beach; there was one a few 100 yards away...
