Hey can you elaborate a little? I've been looking at those reels too, but don't know much about them. What type of fishing are you using it for? How does it cast? Somewhere, I heard that Avet reels had corrosion problems. Any input on this? Thanks!

VERY VERY smooth reels, cast a country mile.
They HAVE to be magged, the spool will spin forever.
Been using it for both casting and trolling, and the drag is amazing.

Word has it out of NB that someone took a 300lb BFT on an SX.

Beautiful machining (6061-T6 body, stainless gears)

hope you got mags... the reel is damn near uncontrollable w/o them.

lever drag reels origionally made for trolling and casting.
they also happen to be machined very well and have very fast bearings in them stock.

a cheap answer to van $tall in the convench category. :hihi:

go take a look at the reel.

they're purty. :D

with the spool just on the drive side (pulled out of the frame) it'll spin for a solid 20-30 seconds
