Black programming like BET and the Black Entertainment Awards were created because the mainstream programming wasn't providing content for an interested audience.

There are plenty of people on this board who were alive during segregation, it really wasn't that long ago. You can't just ignore history...

Well in case my comments were deemed racist. I appoligize, certainly not my intention. I am far from a "racist" nor do I stereotype anyone, sex,race, sexual orientation. My best friend is gay, and I have brought the same subject up to him several times. My point is, by having programs and phone books and groups that strictly target and are exclusive to races or sexually orientated groups is racism. IMHO this only draws the line deeper in the sand.
