I was packing to come home from BI today and when I was tying my rods on the bungee cord snapped taking out a guide does anyone know someone that could fix it or is this covered under warrantee. I almost cried but it was a good week and that was the only thing that went wrong and no-one is hurt. man I am in denial. thanks

If you word it that way Lamiglas would not cover that under warrantee.
Any builder could fix it for far less than it would cost you to ship it back to Lamiglas.
who carz about the rod... howd you do on da island??? ":rtfm:

I did pretty good nothing large but I did manage 3 keepers and 4 shorts,
a bunch of blue fish, a sand shark that hit a live eel. and peeled line like a very large striper. biggest fish was 34 inches. talked to some who were there for 2 weeks and had nothing but a couple of blues. and and old timer a twin maples said the fishing was good till the dog fish moved in last week. great week we loved the island and found a lot of nice spots. yesterday all the vacationers showed and all the spots were packed 4 or 5 guys competing for the same hole. I guess I was spoiled the week before when I was there alone all week.

it most likely would cost ya $10 at any rod builders or B+T shop

I am glad I decided not to go now! I was supposed to go tommorow night! The fishing on the mainland is better. Get in touch with Fishaholic, he fixed a broken guide on my rod and I cant even tell, he does good work...

#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&,
It was our first time on the Island so finding spots and fishing them was most of the deal, lucky that Joe Lyons came out and showed me some good ones and told me how to get to some other good ones worked out great. all and all a great week and if I really fished hard all night insted of being a wimp and leaving at midnight most nights I could have done better. Trying to have a family vacation and fishing hard is def. burning the candle at both ends, good thing I have 2 days to recover.
