Drool....Drool...Drool..... :btu: :grins:   Burn that spot PLEASE....there is enough fish there for everybody for sure. Moses 07-05-2005, 09:56 AM To date, I would agree. I've looked at that photo many many times since Mikey posted it. I'm just trying ti imagine the feeling of being there. I've been involved with blitzes before but always with much smaller fish. Totally awesome! reelecstasy 07-05-2005, 09:59 AM :claps: sickness :claps: zacs 07-05-2005, 10:09 AM doood.   DOOOD justplugit 07-05-2005, 11:28 AM :kewl: When dreams come true. :hihi: Bob Thomas 07-05-2005, 11:29 AM OUTSTANDING!! Just look at that side profile of the bass dead center. That looks rather "large" ! That is AWESOME! :err: Raven 07-05-2005, 11:30 AM the only thing better would be having been there! :btu: Fish On 07-05-2005, 11:33 AM Will I ever see a blitz like that? Unreal! Flaptail 07-05-2005, 11:40 AM Had that happen at Hatches once in July many moons ago. Frank Rufino got a 62 pounder that morning there. Ahh, it's experiences like that that keep you warm on cold winter nights! :kewl: Saltheart 07-05-2005, 12:44 PM Oh Boy!! :) MAC 07-05-2005, 12:53 PM Awesome photo :uhuh: hooked 07-05-2005, 01:08 PM Looks like I'm not getting anything done for the rest of the day... :eek5: Rappin Mikey 07-05-2005, 01:10 PM I really couldn't believe what was going on. I started to sweat and was basically just fishing on cruise control. It was funny, I would look over to anglers on the side of me, and there were no words spoken. People would just look at each other and shake their heads in disbelief. Part of me is wondering if that will be the best fishing experience of my life, and if there is anything more to look forward to. Oh yeah, I still need that fifty. Glad you guys liked the shot. ThrowingTimber 07-05-2005, 01:32 PM Just showed the boss, man and he was like oh cool picture, then he was like OH chit THOSE ARE ALL BASS  killer pix bombas!!!! :kewl: Peter Lajoie 07-05-2005, 01:41 PM I wish I snapped a picture of Vic this weekend...I wont say why though for his sake :err: :bl2: 8888 :walk: Christian 07-05-2005, 05:22 PM you know how some dogs go crazy and pee a little when you first walk in the door, cause theyre so excited. yeah. cheferson 07-05-2005, 06:18 PM Killer photo!! jbuck 07-05-2005, 06:28 PM That's going to have to stay for a while.Great shot! Sea Dangles 07-05-2005, 06:58 PM If you could only see a video of that blitz and hear the sound of ALL those tails slapping at once. That photo does that morning no justice but I suppose it is some nice fish porn for the unlucky. Notice the bait on the beach that was committing hari-cari, now you know how Custer must have felt. Paliaso 07-05-2005, 08:48 PM One can only look at that photo and say, "HOW DID THOSE CHEATIN' MONKEYS FAKE THAT ONE" HA... NO one desereved it more than you guys...except maybe ME!!!! BasicPatrick 07-05-2005, 11:38 PM I ...I just...can...can't.....I just can not stop looking at that pic an....and..... To%^&ing my self CAL 07-06-2005, 12:00 AM you know how some dogs go crazy and pee a little when you first walk in the door, cause theyre so excited. yeah. Too funny! I've never fished a blitz that was as big as that one looks :eek5: Maybe someday. to the Bombas RoyL 07-06-2005, 03:27 AM just sick, plain sick. Good thing im not working right now or id quit. Mr. Sandman 07-06-2005, 06:40 AM :kewl: I like the lack of a human in the photo...just the target species...BOMBA...you should send that photo to OTW for consideration of a cover shot. Most fisherman never see bass feeding like that...ever, esp from the shore. NIB 07-06-2005, 07:17 AM Nice Photo.i wish I had a camera wit me at Montauk one time it was like that.madness, standing on a rock bass in front bass behind me. After a few fish i just figure 8 the bucktail off the end of the rod like for pikie at the boat an get em.i stopped fishin to just watch in awe.I'm gonna print it an take it to work so they know where I am. capesams 07-06-2005, 11:51 AM me too...11 years ago..two morning's in a row on north beach..smaller fish were in shallow, 3" of water..then the med. size then lrg. catch a large, pull it in and the other's would move aside to let it through,., then close in right behind it...only lasted half an hour then the huge school was gone..they were there to catch the sandeels coming out of a shallow trough...only one there...no camera back then. basswipe 07-06-2005, 03:35 PM Wild shot!!! Diamond Tackle 07-06-2005, 05:07 PM That is a great Pic,& quality size fish too. Only thing better would be to be there in person. The sound they make when they are rolling that way becomes etched in your mind forever. Ive seen this several times at Montauk, but not large fish like these. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
