I cant wait for the eel moratorium. Its gonna level the playing field bigtime.

The only shortage I saw was M+D's the day of the MSBA tourney.

However, the size has been very on and off... Somedays really tiny, somedays nice and meaty...

If eels go away........ *cry*

But even if I have to spend another $100 on some more nice plugs... it will be cheaper in the long run over a season...

Even if there is a moratorium, all the bait shops are going to do is start getting the eroupe eels , I have fished them before and they work exactly the same as the eels we have no so there will be no :hang: anytime soon.Ericksons in warwick will be stocking them as will quaker lane so sorry but the #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& will live :rotf3: :rotf3: :rotf3:

That's the one good thing about living in western ma. My shop only runs out of eels when I stop fishing.

"Eel Supply?"

Sounds like the name of some soft rock band from the '80's.

Would they be considered non-native species and therefore not allowed? just curious.

Interesting link, notice they need to catch "Glass eels" to then raise to adult. Where do the migrating glass eels come from?
