Nevermind me,I can't catch a cold this year...but I did see Iron MIke's 60 lb striper caught on a blue/white 3 oz .Habs. WOW Had scales the size of scup!

I just started using needles this year and my biggest is 16.5 pounds

45! Even with my imagination running wild the one I lost won't do that! Maybe 25. Landed maybe 10.

:uhuh: Had one at the race last July measured 47 inches long before release. Estimated low 40 pound range, only fish that night. Ray "Eelpunt" Goeke needle. :)

1st season using them and caught one this past sunday which taped out to 38". others were using dead sand eels on a drift and i decided to cast a 7" black over pearl needle, hit on the first cast, absolutely made my day

maybe 40" but there aren't any bigfish here anyway...

going out in a half hour maybe that will change :laugha: :laugha: :laugha:

Never caught one on a needle. Kind of hard when you don't fish them. Well I shouldn't say never have just been many years since I have used them. I am going to try and change that this year. Paul

50 pounder -- 50 pound lobster pot! :scream2: Darn buoy was way too close to the rocks this past weekend. I wanted to swim out and rescue my plug, but I wasn't quite dressed for it, and besides, RRC wouldn't let me. Last time I underestimate how far I can cast.

26# last year on a Hab's olive needle, fish fought like it was much larger.

39" on a bugger electric blue last year. Now that I have some BM needles, my 50 can't be far behind :happy: :happy: :happy:

First year fishing them.....

Two fish...... one on a gibbs stubby in white, the other on an olive choopy needle. Both twinkies.

High 30's low 40's. Fish was released, no pics. Have since purchase a camera phone :humpty:

I fished one for the first time this spring got a 33 inch fish, I see more Large fish chasing my needles in the future. :hihi:

mine was 24 inches fat schoolie on ur black and gold needles on july 4th weekend

35# on a black gibbs...larger released and never weighed on a blue and white gibbs(same night)

35# on the Hab's and 29# on a beachmaster

28 lbs on a Choppy's Eel color

I caught one around 25 pounds a few years back on the first needle I had ever made :)
