Once again Mike Neto of Andriana Charters landed a 60+ .
On wednesday fishing the Block with live eels they took a 65 Lb 2 oz Bass. :claps: :claps:

wow.. how old would that fish be if it was that big?? 25 years?
i wonder where it had been? who had already caught it? what famous fishign spots it swam through.. what rivers it wintered in?? kind of like the Red violen movie.

According to the chart I have, it's at least 18 years old and could be as old as 21 0r 22...........

According to the story in the paper, Mike said it took an eel at slack at 10 am and felt like a 30 coming in. He didn't have to chase the fish, assuming they boated it easily. There was also a 57 lber caught by a spear fisher holding his breath off the Block last week also.

Would you keep it or release it? My biggest was a 44 and it really didn't fight.....just pulled and came in with pressure.

FWIW, Mike told me that it was the second striper the guy ever caught. The first was a 30lber that he caught about 15 mintues before that one! Guy should buy a lottery ticket! :hihi:
