i did a ton of crabbin down in CT till last year, tried in MA a few times but always gopt skunked. Are they very plentiful up here? Id love to grab a dozen for some crab cakes. They are in in CT right now, but looks like another slow season, the past 2 have totally sucked. Cold and wet during the spring screwd things up pretty bad, hopefully it gets better during august.

exactly what you said.. very slow the last couple years... i will admit i havent tried all my spots, but the 1-2 that I have, have seen much better years.

My best friend owns a place in chatham and there is a beach up the street and me and him have crabbers and we catch big crabes with perriewinkly or snails... if you do it our way all you need is a pice of squid clam mackril or any thing you use for fishing and cut up into chunks and tied to string...
