Are there any good areas to fish from shore in the Salem Ma. area? Bridges or jettys or even shoreline?

There are many areas to fish up here. I know the "spot burning rule" but if you want to find more areas go to topozone.com enter salem, ma and look for areas that look fishable. When you fince areas that look good go to a map and see if the area has access if it does not look like it has access try to find some....take a walk near the area and see if walking access is available.

You can also go to a bunch of local tackle shops and buy some lures and then ask questions...get friendly with the folks here on the board and explore areas and enjoy the time out searching for fish.

Get out and explore...

I be honest, I think the search for the fish is almost as good as catching them...plus you get to see areas that no one fishes.

I was just curious because I recently moved and do not know of any place to go fishing besides Boston, south shore and southern NH.

Plum Island is on the North Shore of Mass....its' closer than driving all the way to Salibury. The coast line from Boston all the way to NH holds stripers.
just do some exploring like these guys said, if you live in Salem you need not ever leave your home town to find stripers.
