The wife, baby and myself spent the week in Falmouth at my friends inlaws house. Besides our baby there were 6 other kids in the house. My buddy has 3 kids and they each brought a friend. First night there we take all six kids out in the whaler, and we found bluefish feeding frenzy. None of the girls wanted to fish so the 2 boys went to town with some poppers, catching 4 blues. The fish sounded and never came back so we headed in. The 2 boys, my buddy and myself got up at 0530, and we went out, chasing blitzing blues for 2 hours straight. We fished mornings and evenings every day, although a couple of the days we got late morning starts. The last 3 nights we found schools of schoolie stripers blitzing on peanuts. While one person handled the boat, the other 3 fished storms , catching striper after striper. One night we left the kids at the house, and took the wives out, catching both blues and stripers. It was fun to teach my friend and the kids how to fish, I am sure they are hooked for life. I actually tried to get him to take the kids out on his own, but he had no confidence. Our last morning we were going to take his 2 little brothers out, but we were fogged in. I went back to bed, and my buddy stayed up. When the fog broke 2 hours later he got his brothers up, and they went out. He was going to wake me up, but decided not to because he did'nt want to wake up the baby. They came back 3 hours laters, all of them with smiles from aal of the bluesfish they landed. I think he has the confidence now.
