i love :cheers:belhaven scottish ale....heavy like guiness but with a much better flavor

newcastle ale (a british brew) called the "dog" because the men heading to the pub would say their goin out to walk the dog...whether they owned a dog or not :) .. it's my hair of the dog beer... of choice

but lately my main brew has been Smithwicks Ale from Ireland...

otherwise i'm enjoying the best thing i like about cape cod
adding a -der to its name
otherwize known as : cranberry juice, vodka, with a lime wedge.

I have plenty of favorites, depending on situation and Time of year, but the best beer I ever had was the IPA at the General Lafayettes Inn in Pennsylvania.

I'm a big Hop-Head and their IPA was Un-Friggin-Believable.

After a trip tp the Mayan Riviera in Mexico this April, I have become infatuated with Sol beer. A little hard to find, but each one brings back memories of a great trip.

Also hard to find, but great in the winter - Wexford's Irish Cream Ale.

Otherwise I like Michelob.

It's not beer, but mead is awesome.

Tops in my book is Yuengling -- glass bottle, there's no other way. For stuff I can get around here, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is good.

I have about 4 or 5 bottles of some homemade Mead, I think Peach and Blackberry, thats been sitting for about 2 years aging......good stuff and it will put you on the floor.

Drank a whole bottle one night and swore I was on a Quest for the Holy Grail

If you go to a fruit meade , its so easy to make i would say its hard to screw up. Cranberry Meade is almost fool proof and tastes like a white zinfandel wine. If you are clever about when to bottle it , it will become mildly sparkling too.

And if their is no blooberry available, ice cold and I do mean ice cold miller-lite being served by the polish twins that sells coor's.
