Start em young ! :bl: bassmaster 08-11-2005, 07:05 PM lol thefishingfreak 08-11-2005, 10:14 PM what should i put for a kid-proof gate over the window? this window is very high and has great views ,but..... it will be in the kids room. and needs a saftey.? RockLobsta 08-12-2005, 05:54 AM I think you could put a cast net over it.......... :bl: justplugit 08-12-2005, 07:25 PM Maybe one of those keyed sash locks. Key would need to be out of kids reach but hangin near in case of emergency. thefishingfreak 08-12-2005, 09:14 PM it's gotta be open all the time. highest window in the house, so it vents the place out. even in the winter. i need some kind of steel cage i can bolt to the outside/inside so kids don't fall out. there is another window for emergencys on the other side of the room that leads down to the roof below. this one is a good 40 feet up from the cement slab below.  Slipknot 08-13-2005, 08:27 AM ya, you're on the right track with some kind of steel cage or bars. That is what I would do. Bass Babe 08-13-2005, 03:52 PM Shark cage? Hit up a metalworker or wrought iron works or something of that nature. They do custom work -- but I've only heard, not experienced firsthand. 5/0 08-17-2005, 06:00 PM Nice job Freak on youre Kid's room, sorry to hear you lost youre Man town though. You can buy steel window locking bars they slide into place then you lock-em,I belive Home Depot carry's them. On our second floor the windows are 8" from the floor and there 6' tall & 23" wide, when my Wife & I bought our house we were our concerned about the Windows height (we have to kid's)realter said that the previous owners had four kids & nothing ever happened.
