Try wearing a bulletproof vest and polyester pants. Those things aren't made for comfort. I stood outside waving my arms at an accident last night for over an hour. By the time I got done it looked like I'd taken a shower. I'm sure I smelt like I needed a shower!

We have not had any measureable rain here in 75 days now. I was watering like a madman up to about 3 weeks ago...I could not keep up. I gave up and now my lawn is fried. I hope it comes back. I plan to put in a well this winter and next year should be able to water a lot more.

We had a T-storm a couple weeks ago on one side of town but my house didn't see a drop.

I like dry summers nut this is getting extreme, I like things green.

My sled told me that it was 98 degrees when I hit I-190 after work today at 3:00. When I arrived in Truro at 6:30 it was 79degrees and had been raining. I thought that I would die at work today. Eben, I really don't know how you do it! Another 20 degrees woulda done my old arse in.

Was on the water off of Westport doing a charter with my Bro-in-law and it was very hot and windy. Fishing sucked all blues. Got home to Lakeville and it said 96 on thermo. Air so thick you had to chew it before you breathed it. Went right inside to AC and slept the rest of the day away. Man we need rain so bad. Can't remember the last time we had rain. Has to be months. Paul

I live in westport on the coast, and its supposed to be like 15 - 20 degrees cooler than anywhere else, right?? WRONG!! Its been the same temp as it has in the city with a few degrees cooler, but it hit 95 here with 98% humidity so it felt like a flippin sauna, and the pool is like a bathtub. I haven't been to work in almost a month, i work with my mom's landscaping business, and there's no weeds to pull, and its just to darn hot to do anything else.. I can't wait till school, atleast i wouldn't be totally board outta my mind.. :)

Is it me or do i remember a few of us saying that they miss the colder temps before? :boots:

Look on the bright side guys, the ocean is much warmer on average this year vs last. Maybe we will see viable fishing into December and only have 3.5 months of the winter blues.

Definitely need afew more nights in the 50s and maybe a few forties to get things jumpstarted again. Has it been cold at night @ the Cape the last few? Suppose to be in the mid 50s at night all week in this neck of the woods. I know that 2 weeks ago I really had to work my arse off to get anything without nasty teeth from shore. The water was like fishweewee.
