View Full Version : Drew Who?
JohnR 01-27-2002, 02:18 PM BLEDSOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
I'm sorry to see Tom get hurt and I hope it's not serious BUT DREW IS BACK WHERE HE SHOULD BE!!!!
Slipknot 01-27-2002, 02:53 PM YEP, BUT THOSE REFS AREN'T WHERE THEY SHOULD BE :(
TheSpecialist 01-27-2002, 03:52 PM Bledsoe is horrible. He could'nt get out of his own way. The refs are paid off by Pitt. Bring back BRADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 :smash: :smash: :smash: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af: :af:
Slipknot 01-27-2002, 04:15 PM dREW IS FINE, THEY WILL WIN AS ATEAM YAHOOOOOOOO
Inspite of the lousy refereeing, the Pats are gonna be victorious
TheSpecialist 01-27-2002, 04:29 PM Bye-Bye Bledsoe :behead:
TheSpecialist 01-27-2002, 05:54 PM Points to consider :
Drew is not mobile.
Drew takes to long to pass the ball, resulting in defenders all over the receivers.
Drew has as much time to make a play as Brady as far as protection goes, sometimes even more yet he fails to make the play.
Drew takes too long at the line to hike the ball, result alot of false start penalties.
Drew throws the ball well sometimes, carelessly others.
What was with the "HOOK SHOT", the guy has been around long enough to know better. Why was he tearing up in the end?, He know he has probably played his last game as a Patriot.
He has alot of class thats for sure, give him that.

Clammer 01-27-2002, 07:51 PM they played with heart today, but Bled still sucks.if he plays next week its history//////////////////////////////////////////////
chubsdad 01-27-2002, 08:13 PM give bledsoe his do. hes been sitting on the bench since wek 2 he comes into the game not even warmed up and completes 3 passes one for a T D and they win and you guys are bashing him thank goodness we had him on the side line .dont get me wrong i think if brady is healthy he should start next week but i wouldnt be upset if drews in there GO PATS
ragfly 01-27-2002, 08:32 PM If Bledsoe plays next week I'm predicting 3 interceptions and the RAMS win by 10. Come on Brady, your young, you heal quick!:smash:
Got Stripers 01-27-2002, 09:31 PM I'd much rather see Brady (if he's healthy), but I don't think Drew would hinder the team that much. I do agree with Specialist, he really can't make the reads he used to, or maybe he just thinks he can do more than he can. He throws some stupid balls sometimes, that little hook shot today for example, he's damn lucky there wasn't a defender sitting there to accept the gift.
If Brady can move around, he brings so much more to the table and they will need everything they can muster to beat the Rams. I feel for Drew, just like I felt for Ray Bourque, time to trade him and maybe he can get lucky like Ray. Or maybe he will actually get his due at the big game.
I think it will be interesting, because if the defense can keep Pittsburg down like they did, then maybe....just maybe.
bloocrab 01-28-2002, 01:25 AM ...Drew, Brady......what about the defense/special teams????
..you can thank your sweet nothings for the defense and special teams that once again stood up in a time of need...
...but didn't Bledsoe step up?..
..didn't he score a touchdown with his third completion???...
..OK, he has his bad points, but doesn't everyone??...
...if he was given the time to throw the ball like Brady has had since Drew got hurt.....could we not have been where we got today with Drew??...
...Due to the fact that we're now in the SuperBowl, I wouldn't change anything...but who has the better accuracy?..deliverance??...velocity??...after all, a quarterbacks job isn't to run, its to pass the ball....with the right protection he would be a superstar...I'm not trying to take anything away from Brady...
.....BUT........
I can't take anything away from Drew either.....
......WE'RE A TEAM, NO MATTER HOW WE WIN......ITS A TEAM EFFORT!!!.....
GO PATS!!!!!!!
JHABS 01-28-2002, 06:17 AM DREW hasn't played most of the year BRADY WOULD BE THE BETTER CHOICE.:smash:
bloocrab 01-28-2002, 08:44 AM ...If Bradys' healthy PLAY EM' !!!!....we always have Drew again for backup..;)
...the only thing I'm hopin' for...is for the defense to show up again. You gotta admit if it wasn't for our Special Teams and Defense we woulda had a different outcome... ...who's got the #1 defense now??..Jerome Bettis...9 carrys 8 yards??? hee hee hee......

Let's enjoy this while it lasts.....here come the Rams...
JHABS 01-28-2002, 09:07 AM BLOOCRAB , YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT THE SPECIAL TEAMS AND DEFENCE. ITS a team win. But if not for BRADY they would not be going to THE BIG GAME. JUST MY .02
Canalratt1 01-28-2002, 12:05 PM Brady will start but cmon Drew as a backup isn't so bad! The Super Bowl will only be won by the Pats if the Special teams and Defense play the way they have for the last half of the season and Playoffs not on the arms of a Quarterback! You will not beat the Rams by opening up the Offense but controlling the clock and winning the tunover and special teams battle will. IMHO
Bledsoe, Brady, Bledsoe, Brady.....blah, blah, blah! Did either one of them catch their own passes, run back a kickoff or punt, or block a field goal ? TEAMS win team competitions, not quarterbacks or any individual athletes.
Krispy 01-28-2002, 03:33 PM New England has a football team?;)
Swimmer 01-28-2002, 04:34 PM The Pittsburgh who?..............Kordell who? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha :laughs: :laughs: :laughs: :laughs: :laughs: :laughs:
:laughs: :laughs:
bloocrab 01-28-2002, 06:12 PM I believe Defense is the biggest thing. The Patriots WILL score, they just have to contain St. Luiz....:)
Seems Kordell thinks the better team lost yesterday. Let's see, the Pats dominated the lines, they overcame horrible (one-sided) officiating and were able to hold on to the win after the steelers went hunting for Bradys knees. Sorry, Kermit, the better team won that trophy.
JohnR 01-28-2002, 06:49 PM That's right Bubba...
