What is going on with the Boston media over this concert? Are they all getting free box seats to the show or what? I can't flip on the news without hearing about how Boston is "Gripped with Stones Fever" or seeing that idiot Mumbles Menino blather on about the ledgend that is the Stones.....jezz! It's like playoff time in Boston, all these anchors talking sports, yuck :yak6:

The rest of the country get Pearl Jam as the opening act but the Fenway crowd has to sit through the Black Eyed Peas... :doh:

They put on a great show!!! I saw them in 95 at Foxboro and they were unbelievable. They were old then and it is hard to believe they are still rocking. Let us know how it was, I am sure they still put on a hell of a show.

Going to see them at the Meadowlands next month. Last time I saw them was in New Haven at Toad's place about 15 years ago.
