Took my GF's 15 year old nephew to the block last Saturday and after a slow start he bagged his first "boat" bass. 36'' 18#. Caught a smaller keeper myself along with some bloooos. What a day! Thought the kid was going to jump out of his pants. I've been taking him fishing with me for over a year now, cod, haddock, stripers, anything that will bite a hook on a boat and surf and he's quickly becoming quite the angler and now he's been badly bitten by the bug he will outlast almost any average angler. Nice to see a newcomer learning the ropes and enjoying himself tremendously! He's now a new member to this board and he's yet to say hello, shy kid. :cool:
