OK - Slip has generously offered his workshop yet again for a little reel maintenance session. Whe can work up a date on when is good for him and The Boss... Also, Slip - how many people do you want to cut off at?

The Cod Trip: I need a date and list of people interested in going. Some time in late Feb perhaps? Unfortunately, this could be the last year of a good Party boat cod trip due to potential reg changes :af: . So let's hammer out some dates and a list of people interested!!

Maybe we'll have a shark trip sometime ;)

reel maintenance is for me . cod is for food and liver oil .

I have reels , just not much knowledge of what goes boing when the sideplates are opened up . I already need a retaining clip for my bearings on my 7000cl . It went boing one night when I turned to talk to my daughter and is now lost .

Hey Chris - for that spring, call Bucko's in Fall River. I just ordered parts from them and had them the next day.....parts are cheap, but they'll get you on the shipping and handling.....$6.95. I got the envelope and it had a $0.55 stamp on it!!!! So, make it worth your while and order anything and everything you might need, extra springs, screws that are soft or nearly stripped, etc. They are real good there, other than the S&H charge..........

Rich, Welcome to S-B!

Uhh Biggest? From boat or shore?
:ss:
Wasn't me this year, had child (well, my wife did) and didn't get out too much. Had a couple shore bass just miss 30 pounds but no monstahs this year...

More than a few regulars had surf bass into the 30s and a handful over 40 pounds this year (Blitz & BM I think) and I think there were some boat bass over 40#s (but they ain't talkin')...

So, snowbirdin' in FLA, eh??? Not a bad thing ehh?

Fred - Welcome aboard - I think you'll have some fun here... Where are you from?

I'm ready to drag a plug across the fish tank. LMAO - Dude - that's very bad. PETA would keelhaul you if they ever heard you talking like that (assuming they could figure the difference between a bow & stern and how to tie a knot)

Sure - I'll put you up on the Cod Trip list. What we plan to do is get 25 or so and take a big boat out of Plymouth... Have a pool for the first fish, biggest fish, & first person to YAK http://128.241.205.103/vbulletin/images/smilies/puke.gif http://128.241.205.103/vbulletin/images/smilies/puke2.gif http://128.241.205.103/vbulletin/images/smilies/pukeface.gif -- I know who my money's on ;) ...

John you make it sound like its a bad thing to belong to PETA I have been a member for years now and I am not only a member I am the Club president:eek: of People Eating Tasty Animals yes thats PETA and I believe my club has far more members than theirs what do you think. I was at the Capital Grill in Providence the other night for one of our regular meetings and the place was so full that all the other resturants in town had to handle the over flow.:laughs: :laughs: :laughs:

Oh welcome Fred hope to meet you on the cod trip

What do you guys know about the Daiwa Millionaire reels. Eangler has some promotion going on. Buy one and get a regal spinning reel for free.http://www.eangler.com/proshop/productdetail.asp?prod%5Fid=3621&sourceid=0208021&jex=2002020818&fnp=25
