View Full Version : S-B Shirts???
JohnR 02-04-2002, 08:23 AM Fish_Eye reminded me of something I've been thinking about for a while - T-Shirts or Blue Denim buttondowns. If we decided on a shirt and if The Blooster was up for a little more of his artistic S.K.I.L.Z, would you all be interested in shirts? T's or Blue Denim? Anyone know of a good shop for turning this stuff out? I would do them for as close to cost as possible but how much they run may depend on how many we get...
And seeing they're your shirts ;) - what would you want on them (besides an inebriated fish http://www.striped-bass.com/Images/drunk.gif ;) )
chris L 02-04-2002, 08:44 AM Im a bad one for this be fore warned .
How about blue denim , with a embroidered striper on the back and the logo of the site over the left breast pocket . duel pockets, button down ,long sleeves maybe even a small striper on each sleeve on the shoulder .
we could use and abuse tattoo for a model .
JohnR 02-04-2002, 08:56 AM we could use and abuse tattoo for a model .
Yer scaring me a little Chis ;) ...
I figure with t's, we go for a mystical Bloo print and if we went the denim route, a classy Bloo designed embroidered Stripah!
Nobody will model these shirts! Unless I can swing Cyndi or Heidi into some modelling ;)
Slipknot 02-04-2002, 09:07 AM John, I think what Chris is referring to is modeling it after the tattoo that Tattoo has on his back.
sounds good :)
OH , the Patriots WIN THE SUPERBOWL
:bgi:
chris L 02-04-2002, 09:13 AM Thanks for clearing that up for me Bruce . Just to give bloo something to replicate . Tatoo isnt my type ! Now Heidi and Cyndi sound nice ! ;)
Fishpart 02-04-2002, 09:16 AM I like the idea of a T-Shirt or a Golf Shirt (not that I golf). Button Down may be a little extreme for me.
Fish_Eye 02-04-2002, 09:50 AM I'll take two of each type.
Saltheart 02-04-2002, 10:33 AM t shirt. Good quality thick shirt. That design of the fish having a brew was good.
GBOUTDOORS 02-04-2002, 02:21 PM I'm in for a dozen T's they run around $6.00 to $7.00 to have made up we do them every year for a fun raiser in town. They sell for $10.00 or what ever. John do you want me to look into this for you???
Krispy 02-04-2002, 04:51 PM A golf shirt would be cool, or even just a button down. No denim:D
Marty 02-04-2002, 05:51 PM I'm in for T-Shirts.
redcrbbr 02-04-2002, 09:47 PM T shirts are fine with me. see how they sell. and then look into the nicer shirts. would be nice to have some S-B.com or NA stickers for the sled made available. Bloo nice job on the sketches.
Crafty Angler 02-04-2002, 10:58 PM Yeah, I'm interested in some heavyweight T-shirts for the coming season - one with the SB logo and bass for sure, and definitely a Leonardo di Bloocrab original. :btu:
Sign me up!
Crafty Angler 02-04-2002, 11:04 PM Oh yeah, John - my friend who owns Flo's has his stuff done by the guy at (or near) the Gob Shop in Warren on Main St. - heavy canvas hats, too - excellent work and not expensive wholesale - you might wanna talk to him.
Can't remember the guy's name ...let's see, it's on a slip of paper around here somewhere...
Anyway, the address is correct.
JohnR 02-05-2002, 08:18 AM Sounds cool - if going with Ts, I'd rather go with the heavier T shirts instead of the ones that are like a cheap second skin... What about a sweat shirt????
mikecc 02-05-2002, 08:23 AM John put me in for a 3 Xl & 3 Lg
any color other than white.
If you want I can also hold some extras at the shop for guys to pick up.
HESH2 02-05-2002, 11:41 AM SOUNDS GREAT,I'M A T-SHIRT TYPE GUY IN WHITE OR GRAY HEAVY WEIGHT LOGO STRIPER WOULD BE GREAT.PUT ME IN FOR 3 XL'S.
The Iceman 6 02-05-2002, 02:09 PM Sound Good - I'm in for 2 XL's, John: Also, what about hats? That would be cool...
Ice
TheSpecialist 02-05-2002, 04:16 PM I'll take 2 xl and 1 med if you get varying sizes. I think embroidered hats would be cool.
LINESIDES 02-05-2002, 04:41 PM John,
Make it first class. Make it turn heads. Make it so the people who see them want one. Good thing for the show!
“Just make sure you are not doing any thing that is copy right protected”!
Later
:smash:
Don M 02-06-2002, 01:18 AM Well! I'm a bit preppy so the blue button down sounds great to me. However, I agree with Mikr L, one or two of each including sweatshirts.
John R, maybe you can get the sponsors to sell them in their shops. I know I would.
Just my opinion,
Don M
Saltheart 02-06-2002, 08:24 AM Same thing for sweatshirts John. Nice thick warm ones. I figure if you are going to do it , might as well also get a good piece of clothing out of it too.
Of course I haven't purchased anything but hooded sweatshirts in over two decades! :)
A nice thick T shirt is hard to beat for this kind of stuff.
JohnR 02-06-2002, 08:52 AM OK - Now we got some stuff to work with here!!
Hey Tattoo
Are you the gent that stood up in front of the East Bay Angler Shop and flashed a quick pose his back (and striper tattoo) to the crowd?
If so, that's COMMITMENT! If not disregard....
TJC
P.S. Count me in on the shirts too!
chris L 02-06-2002, 12:12 PM yes that was tatoo he like to get nekid in pubic and show his stripper tatoo .
Bob Senior 02-06-2002, 04:17 PM John:
I'll go for a couple of the heavy t-shirts--X-lge.
Saltheart 02-06-2002, 04:34 PM In case you haven't noticed , I need XXL! :):bshake:
bloocrab 02-06-2002, 04:49 PM I'd like the XXL sweatshirt myself.....;)
.....:D:D
Tattoo 02-06-2002, 08:11 PM Yup, there is only ONE Tattoo man.
Please ignore that imposter in the February edition of Saltwater Sportsman.
We are working to out due him at the moment.
.......so who wants an autograph? :D
AnthonyN 02-06-2002, 09:04 PM I'll take 1 XL sweatshirt and XL T-Shirt.
Thanks
SeaWolf 02-06-2002, 09:07 PM autogrqph??? dude, when you gonna be at the 'lady???
can we make small stickers too? i want to put them on some of my lures...
Polish Prince 02-07-2002, 04:56 AM Great!!
I'll take two denim shirts, two t-shirts, two sweat shirts, two fancy golf-like t-shirts.
How about a hat!!!!!!!!!!!! --- a good quality hat!!!!!!!!!!!
And - a nice jacket!!!!
This is a great opportunity to demonstarte the class of those who pursue the beast!!
JohnR 02-07-2002, 08:37 AM Uhh - OK. Would you like a super size with that ;) ...
Allright, there were a couple suggestions for places that can handle this by GB & Crafty - anyone here directly involved in this industry ???
Second - For a print, let's see if anyone has any wonderfull ideas that Bloo can translate with his Magic Pen ...
Thanks,
John
Saltheart 02-07-2002, 07:40 PM I think a thick tshirt or golf shirt with a pocket and the striper from the logo embroidered on the pocket would be nice. The embroidery looks real good and these days you can just email them the file. Once they work out the pattern , they can put it on hats or sweatshirts or Tattoo's back! :)You could put striped-bass.com on there too but I'd put it underneath so you could see the whole fish. What do you think!!??
I was really liking the denim shirt idea.......but thats me......golf shirt???? yikes. NOT me.....t-shirt.....dooable....sweeatshirt.....usually chokes me (very picky....most feel like they are strangling me!!!!! )
anyway if its a tee or button up you cam count me in for a couple....I like em loose so an xl for me and 3x for the man:rolleyes:
nightfighter 02-08-2002, 11:50 AM Denim button down and tees sound good to me. There is a very good embroidery shop here in marblehead, will get the name idf you want. For our Cuttail Classic tourneys we always print up tees. A couple years back a Heineken logo appeared on the sleeve, thanks to the generosity of a fellow fisherman who was a beer distributor. Just an idea for sponsors...
