View Full Version : Drumcorpfan Leads Vineyard Derby
Fish On 09-12-2005, 07:52 AM Leo,
I'd like to congratulate you on your fantastic striped bass catch on the first day of the derby! Great job!
For those of you that do not know. Leo, aka drumcorpfan, caught the largest shore bass on the first day of the derby, 36 lbs. As a result Leo leads the derby in this category and is the winner of the Thomas Nessa Memorial award for the heaviest bass on the first day of the derby. As I understand it, Leo's picture will be in the Vineyard Gazzette today or shortly thereafter.
Again, congratulations Leo on a great catch!
I just wanna bang on the drum all day.

Fish On 09-13-2005, 02:21 AM Unfortunately Leo's 36 pounder will no longer be in first place tomorrow.
Leo's new fish, which is absolutely huge, will definately outweigh his 36 pounder. We'll have to wait to see what the weighmaster says, all we can say right now is that it measures 50 inches.
Congratulations Leo!
Fish_Eye 09-13-2005, 04:06 AM What a great way to start the Derby!
redcrbbr 09-13-2005, 04:55 AM Keep em coming Leo. :jump: Here is a link to the derby

Wow, when Leo left for the Derby, we agreed that weighing in a fish would be the goal for this year. Let us know when it's weighed in fishon. Congrats to Leo, great guy, hope you win! :btu:
