Is it legal??? Are there any circumstances under which it is legal to download music ?? BrianS 09-14-2005, 03:38 AM its only legal if your paying for it or its public domain limewire is still full of viruses and spyware too. not really worth it. zacs 09-14-2005, 10:34 AM unfortunately it is illegal to download those songs. or videos. And whenever i turn it or any of the other peer to peers like it on, my firewall starts going crazy with attacks. But there sure is a lot of free music on those suckers... :faga: BOTTLE POP 09-14-2005, 08:51 PM dont use it you will get cuaght on lime wire zacs 09-14-2005, 10:03 PM really? Got it! Here's a follow up question (and btw - this whole train of thought got started because I just got an ipod) So I've started uploading all my cd's to the puter - but many of them are scratched and skip. is there any way to get a CD fixed - so it doesnt skip?? If I have the CD - seems to me i have a "license" and shouldn't have to pay for a new one. ThrowingTimber 10-13-2005, 05:39 PM If your cd's themselves are scratched physically, get and old toothbrush, and brush them the same way you would your teeth with a bit of toothpaste. That should fix minor scratches. Record stores also sell and lil thing you pu the cd's in and it kinda waxes the scratches out. Backbeach Jake 10-13-2005, 06:22 PM There's a tool called a CDDoctor. It'll polish scratches from your CDs. Gouges, not so much. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
