Anyone know anyplace I can find barn sash windows? New or antique? I want one or two for my shop! If I can't find any I guess I can make them! I want a long, narrow window on one side of my shop above my lathe bench for light and a view.....also will not use up too much valuable space over my bench! Any help is appreciated...I imagine Capesams might chime in on this...I hope! :)

your choice may depend on how your planning to ventilate all the fine saw dust from sanding as well as paint fumes....and easy cleaning! the windows that can accomodate a fan or blower might be a consideration....just a thought BF.

Go to the dump. If you have one that will let you get near the contruction debris area. Usually in a remodel old sash is getting heaved. Tough part is finding with glass that's intact.

Also, if you see a renovation going on with new windows. Possible that old sash is still on the sight.

Or drive by bassmasters place. I am sure he has got piles of crap scattered around with some sash over by the junk cars or the old washing machines....

if you do find any old double hung or single sash windows,,,it's far cheaper to buy replacement sash than to spend hour's reglazeing them..again brosco has them.
