in the past few weeks i have posted some stuff that i really shouldnt have.. one being a pretty pointed jab at fishaholic18 which i took down a little while after the fact. I have apologized to him personaly but for those who might have read what i posted i was way out of line and had my facts screwed up. Dave is a great guy and i think in a nutshell i was jealous of his success.

For the past week i have been feeling like i got run over by a truck. Yesterday the doctor told me i have Lyme disease, which is what i had thought was wrong with me.. i can barely walk up a set of stairs right now im so sore.. and as a result i am one cranky SOB......

im on antibiotocs now and should be better in a week or 2, but for those who might have noticed a total deterioration in my behavior here, this is why.

Good luck fighing it off, most of the people in my family have had it atlaest once, they get different strains of it though so it get a bit tougher to fight. Guess living on the water in Old Lyme did have some drawbacks. It got to you so bad you even changed your name.

I totally understand what you're going thru, and glad we got to talk and hammer things out like men. Most of all, I'm glad we can remain friends, I really didn't want to loose that,you're a great guy. We are only human and we all make mistakes, whoever says they haven't is a liar.
Just concentrate on getting better now.
Keep your hopes up and it'll be fine, I'm praying for your fast recovery. You got my # if there's anything I can do to help ya, even if it's just to BS.

LD is nasty. My boss at work had it and is STILL recovering from it. Best to seek advice from just one physician. He looked terrible over the summer and was walking like he was 110. :( I had another co-worker who had LD and she was on antibiotice for OVER a yr. No one is an expert at it - talk to some others or look online for additional information.

Everyone gets PMS online. Think twice before you post. If you are really PO'ed about something then have a drink and go back on after the steam has settled..... lol.

Send me a wooden swimmer if it makes ya feel better. ;)

feeling much better now.. i fished tonight( first time in 2 weeks) waded out on a cobble bar and got bashed around in the surf.. it felt good.. then moved to one of my favorite incomming gansett spots and picked up a fat/short 20 lber on a 3oz. Blurple beachmaster needle. (spot was not in OTW :hihi: )

All is good in the world tonight :D

yeah my knees felt like i had arthridas (sp?) since june.. after 5 days on antibiotics, i feel like a teenager agian..

have you been diagnosed with it? and if so have you taken any medication??

Sorry Slip.Fishin wirlwind vacation.day bite(mornin evening)then fish all night.I had 6 hrs sleep the first three days an then i crashed then another six hrs the next three an i really crashed.I went over to say hello to Bernzy an fell asleep sitting on there couch. anytime i stopped movin i would Konk out.Needles to say I kept movin.Fishing time is the fasted time there is like warp speed.then there is fishin vaction time.Now that really flies.
