What a great day on the bay! Fat stripers, tanacious tuna everywhere, gorgeous whales, and sunfish! Is it realy October and 70 deg? Best fall day I've ever had! Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much, wish I was out today as well, but kids hockey has started.

I had a f*#^ing jerk come across my transom yesterday while I had tube & worms out, cut both off!!!
The F*^*ing jerks went full throttle in the direction of birds working, and of course he goes right through the birds sending the fish scattering down!!!

RR, I think I know that Robalo. I've had similar confrontations with that guy. Last time I threw a hopkins at him like BigFish recommends. I had it out with him later at the docks. :realmad: :af: :hs:

Man do I hate fishing on the weekends, freaking morons like that are everywhere, no curtiosy, no brains, no fishing sense,,,but HEY THEY GOT A BOAT !!!!

No this was like 40' er' He decided to anchor up 10 yards next to me at a rockpile that was only a big as his boat. I gave him a few "indications" that I was not pleased. He could have cared less. Any cast he would make would have crossed my lines.
THERE IS NOT ROOM FOR MORE THAN ONE BOAT AT THIS SPOT.

So I pulled anchor, drove about 30 yards away, turned and charged him with 175 HP screaming at WOT. A hard port Bootleg turn to throw him a nice "GO @*#$ YOURSELF" wake and i was gone in seconds.. :af:
I think I need some anger management classes. Usually I don't do crap like that.

Anyway I did much better at the spot where everyone was getting bait.
That place was another Cluster F.......but managable..

Saw you guys do a bait pick up from B&J, how did you do after that??
I ended the day with about 6 bass and same on blues (BIG blues too.)

One time I was set up at the gut been there for hours This YAAAHOOO does the same thing to me I was not Happy pulled anchor ran at him with 225HP at about 15 feet did a left did a run around him to let him know I was knot happy /////////Now I look back that googan did not know what he did.

BTW I found LARGE POGIES for the first time in 10 years for me this sunday boy was that fun..........

I know, I know. Believe me things like that have happened more times than i can count (IN MY 30+ YEARS OF BOATING), and this was the first time I've done anything like that. I had words with people a few times, but nowhere near as many as needed it.

As i said I usually don't do things like that, I don't even like to get into pissin contests with people, I just give it the "whatever" and move on.

i could work m-f but i choose to work split work , 2 weekends on , 2 weekends off , those 4 days off during the week are worth it , especially this time of year when the tourists are gone , do i chase birds , yes , i am a top water / lite tackle nut , but i know the rules , i don't race into the middle , i don't crowd , when possable i get up wind and kill the motor and drift down , if someone beats me there i take whats left , nothing gets me more crazy when some idiot trolls through breaking fish or some charter boat who has to get fish comes crashing through :wall: (across my line of cast) . but what can you do the morons are not going away , i just move on at that point , always a good time to try new spots , especially during the fall run

Fished today and still had a couple of idiots run through the middle of a blitz.
But no big deal, as there werent that many fish there.

BUT,,,,on the way back to the marina I spotted some action on some flats in Quincy, and the action was AWESOME. Within 15 minutes we were into an all out blitz all around us with only one other boat and a kayak. We were on this blitz for over an hour, with constant hook-ups, one "schoolie" my buddy hauled in was about 17 lbs. Some good size blues in the mix too, but mostly linesiders.

We had to get back and left with the blitz still going on, and NO OTHER BOATS ON THEM !!! AWESOME IS THE WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the AM we got a bunch of live pogies, got one 18-20 lb striper, but that was it in that area, we dragged some around for quite a while but no more fish.
