well, it was thought up by nelson V.. he along with some others decided that 'the other club' was too permiated with commercial Bass and fluke fishermen and offered very little to the surfcaster. After all, 'the club' used to be a heavy contender in the day... many a good surfcaster was in that club. So Nelson got together a bunch of us locals and said lets start something new so we did. So far it seems pretty good. I'll PM you when i know more about the next meeting if you would like to join.

with all the "discussions" over spots I am guessing that e-mails will be sent askign the clubs to respect or think about giving out information about spots ...just a theory and probably a wrong one.

God no, I would not do something like that. I think clubs are the best place for where spots should be shared - above all other than father to son, and angler to angler, just not broadcasted to 2000, 5000, 20000 people at once - spread the wealth. Damn, since I said no spot talk :hihi: I gotta shut myself up...

No, it is getting clubs that may be interested to support certain fishery initiatives.... I'm also waiting to here if "sites" like S-B can be involved as well. This is a good thing and will be known shortly...
