This weeks fisherman, zach harvey wrote the article that all new surcasters should be required to read and then be tested on before being allowed to fish. Bravo, I hope people read and remember it.

We had a thread started as a similar topic that Mako Mike was going to use. kippy 11-03-2005, 12:56 PM He did mention that spot specific articles would continue. I guess they are finally addressing part of the problem. MakoMike 11-03-2005, 01:01 PM 19, FWIW, I have already printed out that entire thread and now I have to go through it and see if there is enough meat in there for an article. I'll probably do that in the next several weeks and if there is an article in there It will probably appear somewhere at the neginning of next season. DZ 11-03-2005, 01:54 PM I talked with him yesterday about this very topic - Zach told me about his editorial. I told him that from now on my weekly reports would leave out specific locations. This after one of our private locations in Newport was closed - directly the cause of fishermen. We had a good conversation about magazines, websites and the saturation of shore locations. After all, his product must sell to be viable and without the occasional "where to" his readers and advertisers would leave. You can only print so much "how to" before people want to know where to apply their newfound knowledge. DZ vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
