I'll be up in Boston thurs night and the wife would like to head to the north end for dinner, anyone have any suggestions? Lookng for a quiet, not too expensive place with good italian food.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I lived in the N. End for a few years and you can pretty much just walk down Hanover or Salem Streets and pick a place that looks good and it almost certainly will be. My wife's favorite is El Dente on Salem Street. I would say my favorite is Artu, which is right off of Hanover but I'm not sure the name of the street its on.

Thanks Clog, looks like Artu is on Prince St. I think I'll go with your pick over your wifes. I looked at the menu online and it looks good!
Thanks for the advice!!!

When you walk by 90 Prince Street look at the bent nose types hanging around outside and say, "hey, how youse doing?" It a legendary mob hangout. If its still there.
