Anybody going? The path through spiritual enlightenment is through the surf.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama will visit Salve Regina University in the afternoon on Thursday, November 17, 2005. The primary purpose of his visit is to meet with his longtime friends and supporters, Sen. and Mrs. Claiborne Pell, who established the Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy at Salve Regina University in 1996.
In addition to his visit with Sen. and Mrs. Pell, His Holiness has graciously offered to speak to Salve Regina University students who study his writings in several courses, and other members of the university community. The Dalai Lama’s talk is titled "A Human Approach to World Peace."
Security precautions and limited seating warrant that preference is given to Salve Regina students, faculty and staff with regards to attendance.
