Swimmer 11-18-2005, 05:14 PM Reading clammers plea for his clam back got me to thinking about who makes all the emoticons like the one on the pull-down list that we can add to our posts and like clammers clam? BigFish 11-18-2005, 05:16 PM Emoticons-R-Us! :hihi: Swimmer 11-19-2005, 10:58 AM So Lar, what your saying is that they are all designed by everyone here... Katie 11-20-2005, 09:12 AM There's sites that you can go to and download some that people made..i guess you can make them in this certain kind of program, if not something like Adobe Photoshop, or Pantshop Pro, but you'd have to be close of drawing practically everything by hand, on the computer. SolOmoN 11-20-2005, 02:34 PM what are you looking for? I can make anything that you may want It's not too hard ....gif or .jpg whatever drop me a line. sol... Swimmer 11-20-2005, 04:54 PM First of all thanks Katie. I have Adobe 5.5 and a non commercial version. It probably is capable of making them and adding motion. I don't have the book however, Solomon....I am looking to learn how to make them. Thank you for your reply. I just find them very entertaining when I have time to be here and actually remember to add them for effect to any post I put up. SolOmoN 11-20-2005, 04:59 PM well email me off the list and I can walk you through it if you like. sol... You get an "A" for showing me you can do it.....and you'll get a hug and kiss for giving me the short version of how you did it if we ever meet. What "free" software can it be done with? Hi Slip  ....only a few truly understand me. It must have been that time we spent whispering to each other on the deck of that private cruise we took a couple years back. I can still feel your breath on my cheeks. God if I wasn't married....you hunk of a man you!! Is it true about big-footed guys? :vamp: The House?.... :hs: Lotta work when you try to save a buck. Sanding the 1st floor this upcoming weekend...then it's painting and lighting fixtures then we move in. Sounds like a couple weeks huh?...In reality, it will probably still be sometime in LATE January. :splat: John, now it looks like me.. .....you mean you look like a big dummy?? :jump1: JohnR 11-22-2005, 09:02 AM You get an "A" for showing me you can do it.....and you'll get a hug and kiss for giving me the short version of how you did it if we ever meet. What "free" software can it be done with? Easiest software I've used to animate is Fireworks, one of the better is Photoshop (and plug-ins), Best free software would probably be GIMP - look it up :hihi: bloocrab 11-22-2005, 09:07 AM I didn't even know the one you toyed with was animated, why does his automatically move, but I have to click on yours to see it move...is that a setting? Thanks for sharing John...I love you too  The Dad Fisherman 11-22-2005, 09:14 AM Best free software would probably be GIMP - look it up :hihi: Just don't do an Image search.......it isn't pretty  JohnR 11-22-2005, 09:17 AM I didn't even know the one you toyed with was animated, why does his automatically move, but I have to click on yours to see it move...is that a setting? Thanks for sharing John...I love you too  His was smaller than the thumbnail settings for the board so it does not need to open a new window. Images lager than 150x150 are automatically resized by the board software to post the thumbnail on the page and link it to the full size... That's why ReelEct was saying it resembles him - the consumate plug loser and rod snapper :hihi: Love you too Bloo... Seriously, GIMP has a learning curve but it rivals the big commercial apps in what it can do and the support it gets from the open source community - and did I mention it's free... SolOmoN 11-22-2005, 07:53 PM used to be th first one..... then came the second... Happy Thanksgiving all. sol... p.s. this ones for you Bloo... Have a great day! fishaholic18 11-22-2005, 09:48 PM Cool. :claps: :claps: vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
