Mike,
What's the guy's name standing next to the Wagoneer in the rear of the shot? I can't remember for sure, but I believe it was either Bob or John? I fished with him one night this fall at Quonnie, really nice guy with some great stories, but the fish didn't cooperate. He said he even posts here every now and again. Any ideas?
Chris

fish-eye, you might want to watch your back after this one. posting pics like thes is like posting pics of secret military plans. we all want to see them, but the consequences are just not worth it....

Are these Jeeps green, grey, or blue (my monitor isn't as accurate as your memory). And for a big favor, could you name the three people in the top picture(either by posting name or real or both)???? Reason being---I'd like to buy one of the Old Boys.

Canalrat1---I wish I could find some of those old "early Vineyard" or "Playland Sunday Afternoon" pics from our Leper days.

"Lepers gather where old Wagoneers go to die". :D

mmacy, I have to admit that vehicle is just too nice to drive off road. I just can't see how the salt and sand would react to the flat-screen dvd player after a few years on the beach. I own a deville and while it was being serviced one day I took the Esplande out for a test spin. It is awesome. IMO no other SUV rides like this thing. The fit and finish is so nice I just can't see taking it off road. For a ski-trip up north...yes but on the road to black rock, having the briers scraping along the sides of that finish...no way. I wonder how the "On-Star" GPS/info service would respond to a question like this....Uhhh, I am trying to get to #^&#^&#^&#^&ens point off of black rock road and the un-named dirt road that I am on splits 3 ways...which fork do I take?:)
The only imrovement that vehicle could possibly have IMO is getting the NorthStar engine. If you got the $ this is one sweet SUV but I just couldn't beat on it too hard.
