Plugfest '06... coming to a town near you?

I think we need to keep this tradition alive. I have had a lot of fun at the last ones. I know the planning didn't go smoothly last year and it all got dumped on Scott but I think he did a hell of a job with it and I really think that it will be hard to top this year.

One of the problems he had last year was that he had to put up the ca$h in advance so he had a lot of money hanging out there and had to hope that enough money would be raised to reimburse him. I was thinking that we could sell tix in advance, then the money would be there to use.

I liked the competitions too, I think we should keep that alive.

Anyone else have ideas for events, or other brainstorms?

Lets here 'em.

-Dave

Advance ticket sales is a good idea if and only if it is a hardship to Scott for he will be the one to let us know.
If a advance ticket is sold and there is a no show then maybe it can be redirected to the site as a donation that is once all the fees are paid for plugfeast 06.

good ideas canalman, I agree.
Let's ask John about advanced ticket sales to cover expenses.
I know I had to front the hall cost the first year we had it and this year I just can't swing that.
I like the idea of a competition again, of course you liked it :) you won last years :faga: :hidin:

let's get the ball rolling and try to decide a date.
I was just thinking about this today also.

redsoxticket, there WILL be a show.

RSTICKET - Your writings sound almost shakesperean :laughs: :read:

Well, I figured if we are to make this work we need to start planning now. :)

I'd be more than happy to take some of the responsibility anyone else feel like getting in on this  ?

I wouldn't miss it, learned a lot last year. Pre-pay sounds like a good idea.
