made these recently along with a couple others I sent to Z for that auction for kids fishing trip.

wild guess on the surfster body just from memory from seeing pictures, I used the medium surfster lip. I think the body needed to be fatter but that will have to do. It has 2 part urethane primer and paint on it.

The fat bodied swimmer is just something I turned and it looked good.
Needle is just a 2 oz. with a nice color, you can't see it but there is a strip of a lighter hue down the sides.

Hand carves. Just a tad under 1 oz. Thru-wired and completely sealed. Tight wiggle to them. Float at rest and dig a few feet on retrieve.

What if you round the tip of the skinny end a little and put a small lip in there. Then remove the other lip, flip the teaser to the fat end, and paint two big eyes on the fat part? I really like the profile.

Can't you just put them on a 10 min bake cycle @ 195 degrees in the booth like we do at our shop!!! :laughs:
