View Full Version : Does anyone have any Live Herring pic's?...

Has anyone out there taken profile pictures of live herring just out of the water using a quality 35mm camera or high resolution digital camera?...

If so, I am looking for some visually stunning up close pictures capturing the rich, natural coloration of live herring, mackerel, or hickory shad...

These are best photographed using an optimal light source without a flash.

Please PM me if you have any or know where I can find some...

Thanks!

Bliz

It's pretty easy Bill
there is a spot below while you are replying called manage attachments, just click on it, then hit browse, find your pic must be 640 x 480 I think, then upload.

easy

good luck

Actually, it says "attach files", but it won't allow me to click on it or doesn't do anything when I do.

That one would have been a nice one had it been photographed on it's side.

I'm looking for a complete profile...

Thanks for trying!

BW, the language is latin and is filler while under development...

Try going to Kenny Abrams' site www.stripermoon.com go to his "baitfish gallery" link. He's got many pics of live baitfish and other species in tanks of water, so you can see the natural coloration of LIVE, healthy fish. Coloration changes when a fish is unhealthy, dead, or even stressed. They have cells called chromatophores that allow them to change colors and patterns to match their surroundings or dispay their moods as communication.
