I can only hunt saturdays due to my job, so two hunting days in a row you'ld think I wouldn't be one to complain. That would mean everybody and their brother would be out there weekends and what would that do to the deer population? Theres so many deer that aren't tagged that IMO there isn't as much deer as they claim. I know of a drive that took place this year in zone 11 and in it where ten hunters....together they killed Zero deer,,they saw Zero deer on opening day. Their deer #'s were deceasing for years. I know that 8 years ago it did matter what peice of woods I scouted it was loaded with sign, not the case now, you either have private land that is in prime location or do alot of leg work. This year I have spoke to many hunters that are sayin the same thing. Everyone knows saturday is orange army day now sundays too?? Deer will be adapting to live in dog houses, if their not already. snake slinger 12-07-2005, 05:12 PM we have pleanty of deer in RI with sunday hunting GBOUTDOORS 12-08-2005, 08:05 AM I am with Goose on this one but I do get to hunt everday if I wish so my vote may not count. I like having Sunday to scout without the worry that someone may be out there hunting at the same time. During gun season the only time I scout land that I do not have well controled and posted is on Sundays. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
