Watch out for thin spots where springs are flowing underneath the ice and bring an ice pick or 2 so if you do break the ice, you can pull yourself up (and a change of warm clothes). Christian 12-09-2005, 09:02 AM i decided my last day fishing liquid water was yesterday, just too much ice on my guides. so its going to be about a month. north freezes sooner. dont go walking out on ice without doing test holes, january whatever, it can always not be safe. i cant wait. it is nice having this little bit of a break from fishing right around finals. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2025, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
