View Full Version : older makos?
taJon 12-11-2005, 03:43 PM Just wondering how the older Makos ride, both the CC and Cuddys. I'm just trying to get some research done for my upcoming purchase. Older I mean like mid 80's.
Is the ride harsh, wet, dry, etc.....
JohnR 12-11-2005, 03:48 PM For a biased opinion - check ClassicMako.com. For a great ride in an older boat, check out the Seacrafts ClassicSeacraft.com and the Formula/Thuderbird/Performer hulls :)
it really depends on which model. Just like anything, you can design different boats for different applications.
but overall I think that they ride great and are nice and dry, and well built.
Lots of support over at classicmako.com as JR said.

You are almost right, when someone wants to consider a twin powered 25' Mako and wants to save money with a single, and improve ride, resale, quality, and fuel economy, they buy a 23 Seacraft (well, at least an older Seacraft as Mako builds the new ones :yak:)
