John u should have that Lip bent up to pull the head down an make a nasty wiggle. Arne P 12-15-2005, 07:29 AM Wow! Real nice. How long is it? I've got to see one of those plugs in person someday. :) NIB 12-15-2005, 07:36 AM If I recall somewhere round 6.5".Spanish cedar.which is light like the red cedar.it was the only thng i could find locally that I could get in 2" stock as the fat part of th body is slightly bigger than 1.5".The spaniard stuff is full o holes so it takes a few coats of primer an sandin to seal em up. BassAssasin 12-15-2005, 08:48 AM Spanish cedar is much heavier than red. You did a good job hiding that open grain. How many coats of primer did that take. I have a bunch of that stuff, its good for poppers and needles. It is similar to teak but not as hard. Nice plug, I bet it casts good. numbskull 12-15-2005, 02:46 PM @#%@#!!**! Looks as if the "most likely to catch fish" category at the coming plugfest is ruined for the rest of us.
