2005 - Over and Out (http://www.tattoostackle.com/)

With the 2005 season winding down to a close, we would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their continued support.

Once again demand exceeded supply thoughout the season creating temporary voids at certain times. Realizing this, we recently aquired a new woodworking facility with 1000+ square feet of workspace. With the new workspace, added tooling and additional workforce, production rates are almost sure to double for the 2006 season.

Valuing customer feedback, we would like to hear your thoughts. In the past, customer feedback has played a key role in refining the quality and performance of our products and we plan on listing to feedback from the field and continue to make a better product. Suggestions about certain features of a lures, new color schemes, new product designs, success stories and the like are all important to us. Please feel free to drop us a line with your thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you.

Be sure to visit us at the New England Saltwater Fishing Show March 31 - April 2. Our products will be available for purchase directly from us at the show. This is a once a year event, so be sure to take advantage of it.

Thanks again for a great 2005 season and Happy Holidays.

Tattoo i wish you continued sucess with your plugs, many go-to's of mine and others i know are Tattoo's. You listen to what the folks want, and make it happen. Cant ask for much more than that!

That was my big question. The plugs are great and i have a few but just cant bring myself to get many more at $20 a pop.

Tony / Skip,

I wish I had an answer to that question but I don't.

We all know price is a sensitive subject with any product, this is why I choose not to suggest a retail price for any of my products. I don't feel it's necessary to dictate how much someone should make or not make. If someone wants to charge $89 dollars for a green widget with pink spots, then so be it. If they want to charge less for what they bought it for, then so be it.

People seem to forget that the middle man, the person you actually buy the product from, makes money on the item too, sometimes more than I do after it's all said and done. In addition the hype from sellers on eBay and other auction sites only drives the price up on any product, not down.

What I can tell you is that the cost of everything has gone up and I've done my part to absorb as much of it as possible. Stainless steel wire, eyes, wood, shipping charges, electricity, and the like. I do my best to remain competitive with other manufactures, and looking at the sales I do not think I am out of line at all.
