Here is a tool I made to hold the plug during the painting process. It rotates 360 and can be left at any angle needed.

You mean you don't paint your finger nails like I do? I made the mistake of going to pick my daughter up at school one day. I left in a rush while painting.
The Moms were checking me out and finally one came up and asked how I had hurt my arms. I hadn't washed the createx off my arms where I was testing spray patterns. The blue, purple, red, yellow and black looked as if I had bruised my arms. Ever try explaing to a someone about building lures who has no clue? They just look at you with that blank stare and all your thinking is. I'm digging this hole deeper.
Sweet setup Professer

I wish those kinds of ideas and that kind of metal work came with the last name. Once again an excellant job you are earning that name professor.

Nice work Paul.:kewl: I like the brass bushings. Did you ever make a holder for the inserts for yourself yet?

Don't feel bad Fred. I still use the wires and hold them to paint.

I thought I was high tech, wearing latex gloves to hold my bent wires.

What exactly (if anything) is wrong with holding the plugs with a wire while painting? I find some of the manipulations required to get good clean color separation co only be achieved by hand!

I think Paul's set up is great but it would be a entirely new learning curve for me.

Nice job PM......:wavey:
