Thats BS afterhours and you know it, Kimo was clearly blocked into Palmer. And if even there was doubt that he wasn't the last time they played when Ben just got back from Knee surgery one of the Bengal linebackers CLEARLY took a cheapshot at Bens knee's and was flagged for it

CHILDREN!!!

Let's just root for now.... I'll root for the Steelers to pass through Indy first thank you!

But I think all three of the games not involving the Pats have had more than their share of personal fouls, ejections and other on field acts that Bill B would not tolerate, and his team knows it!

Even though I'm a die-hard Pats fan, I didn't think the injury was intentional. I have a DVR so I replayed it a couple of times. Was curious if any of the sports rags were going to comment today and they did. Just stating the facts.....

i saw what i saw.

did you also see later on in the game when they replayed it keeping the camera on them both and the Steeler that hurt him looked very upset that the QB was hurt, I think he felt awful about it and it did not look like he was acting. He used to play for the Bengals too.

It's only a game, it's football, they play hard and guys get hurt, it's all part of the game.

good acting slip, he looked then grabbed and pulled in his leg and rolled it.

It's only a game, it's football,
A game that they get payed Millions to play, and more if they win, whatever it takes. If my best shot at beating the other team was to take out the QB then, guess what?? It isn't supposed to be pretty. What would us Pats fans be saying if Seymore took out Manning in the championship game??? :bounce:

Makes no difference. With Cowher at the helm, the Steelers will never win it all.No coach in recent NFL history has had more opportunities to make it to,and/or win the Super Bowl. The guy is the epitome of a tight a** coach. A coach who can't get it done in the big game.He is either out coached,or can't get his players up for the big one.His one trip to the Super Bowl,in typical Cowher tight a** fashion,he got a tight sphincter and called a pass over the middle.Just ask Neil "I really wasn't throwing to the Cowboys" O'Donnell.Kordell Stewartwas never the same after he got bitch slapped up and down Heinz Field by the Pats in 02...He is no different than Schottenheimer.Whenever a coach coaches to not lose,VERY rarely do they win...

That pretty much says it all....both of those coaches have had their chances and have no idea how to win the big game. Until they prove otherwise they will always be the "Also Rans"

Yep lots of pulling and twisting going on there, some of you need glasses. And that pictures shows exactly when the injury occured just look at the angle from his thigh to knee and then knee to ankle he was planted from the throw and had his weight on that leg hence the injury

To me it did look like he reached for Palmer. Last time I checked I think that's his job. There was nothing cheap about it, he was going down and tried to make a sack unfortunately Palmer got hurt. I don't think his expression during the rest of the game was acting either. Why act?

disclaimer: I am, and have been a diehard Pats fan for years, but how can you hate the Bus, Ward, and Rothleswhatever?

I agree with that. Through his body language, to me anyhow, he looked pretty bumbed.

That was Cowher's first playoff win on the road, pretty weak if you ask me. Wouldn't exactly fire me up if I were a Steelers fan!

going back to the EW hit that was not a sheap shot and was a clean hit even if it was helmet to helmet it is within the rules. good hard football. earlier in the season when you saw first harison and than warren I believe ripe the helmet off of the QB at the end of a sack that was cheap.
