Has anyone seen / tried these? They look like a solid candidate for modifying with bolts.

Toby:

I had a pair. (although mine looked a little different) and the carbide tips popped out like crazy. I wore them 3 times and returned them to LL Bean. I think the sole was too thin and would think you may have problems modifying them due to tearing, etc.

Just my .02

I got a pair cheap and tried them at Montauk and elsewhere. They worked pretty good. I didn't have studs drop out. The selling point was the aquastealth. It has grip without studs. I wear aquastealth boots from 5-10 90% of the time. Awesome on wet and dry rock. A good\fair grip on algae

Hold on to them and I'll grab them next time I visit. When is the G-man moving?
