I got the call this morning that because of the weather they had to cancel my reservation today for my Smelt Shack...You would think that making plans to ice fish in January....In MAINE, the last thing you would have to worry about is whether there will be Friggin Ice!!! :splat: its not supposed to be 50 in January....its just wrong....Going to have to see if I can get something in February......and it better be frigid by then.

yeah but on the plus side....if the weather stays warm maybe the yellowfin will be as close as the bluefin were last year! (about 5 years ago they did indeed come in that close...about 5 miles off from where I live)

my ice rink in the backyard, is now a 10,000 gallon wading pool, WTF... but wait, does anyone know where I can get a few left over schoolies for stocking??
