hi everyone, just found this site. it's great. I'm getting tired of killing or giving away perfectly good live bait. does anyone use a bait pen/cart to keep live baits in? how long will the bait (pogies, mackies, pollack, eels) last? what size cart is needed - i'm thinking 36 x 36 would do the trick. any suggestions on where to get one? thanks

Pogies and pollack will stay good in the pen as long as the pen is big enough.
Oval shaped pens are best.

I have (2) 4' high by 4' dia. pens I built out of pvc and palstic netting. I built them several years ago and kept herring in them in Lake Assawomsett. They last only ok in the lake. Water doesn't move enough. Salt will give you better results or moving fresh water. I would love to get rid of them both. No need for them now. I can send you a photo if you would like. Paul
